Pastor Hawkins 2020 New Year Address
Hello Saints and Friends,
It gives my family and me great pleasure to greet you in this New Year, 2020. I believe God has great things in store this year for those of us who love Him and are the called according to His purpose.
As we move forward in 2020, let’s keep in mind this motto: Empowering Ministry, Building Relationships, and Advancing Christ Everywhere. Each of us must concentrate on our purpose as it relates to the edification of the body of Christ. In Ephesians 4:11-13, Paul expressed that God put people in place, distributing ministry gifts, “. . . for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.” I believe that the foundation of successful ministry begins with our willingness to allow God to fulfill His purpose in us in order to minister to others.
This year, we are expecting even greater things for Shiloh Church Of God In Christ. I believe God has placed us in a strategic place to help facilitate His next, great move. I pray that you will have a role in all of our endeavors this year.
Please pray that God will continue to strengthen us and that we will continue to follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit in all we do.
